This can create a feeling of being overwhelmed that affects every area of our lives and can impact those around us. I am committed to using a compassionate and collaborative approach to facilitate positive changes and healthy coping. My experience includes working with mood and anxiety disorders, self-esteem and emotional issues, trauma, stress management, relationship and communication difficulties and with parenting challenges. I use different modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and Accelerated Resolution Therapy and any approach taken will be sensitive to your needs and current situation.

Unique experiences shape who we are. At times, these experiences, such as trauma, stress and grief can feel overwhelming. Therapy is a safe place where individuals are invited to explore emotional difficulties and life stressors. My goal is to focus on your well-being, effective coping skills and elaborate on your strengths. There is a great reward when we spend time working on creating the best version of ourselves.

I am a Registered Social Worker with my Masters in Clinical Social Work from the University of Calgary. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), & Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT). My years of experience as a Social Worker have allowed me the opportunity to work with individuals, families and groups, with a focus on adults and older adults. I am looking forward to building a therapeutic relationship and offer support as you enhance your strengths and resiliencies to continue your journey.
