Jacques (he/him) is committed to creating a warm and collaborative environment where clients feel seen and supported in their journey. With a background in the performing arts, Jacques has spent over a decade working with music and theatre companies across Canada.
Jacques takes an integrative person-centred approach informed by existential therapy, solution-focused therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, and trauma-informed care. He seeks to provide a safe and supportive space for people of diverse identities to explore their experiences, connect with their strengths, and move towards growth. Ultimately, he considers clients to be the experts of their own lives and works collaboratively to find new meanings, insights, and potential solutions.
A bilingual Acadian originally from Western PEI, Jacques moved back home to the Island a few years ago after a dozen years in Edmonton and Toronto. Above all, he values the opportunity to walk alongside clients as they connect with their resilience and inner resources.

Unique experiences shape who we are. At times, these experiences, such as trauma, stress and grief can feel overwhelming. Therapy is a safe place where individuals are invited to explore emotional difficulties and life stressors. My goal is to focus on your well-being, effective coping skills and elaborate on your strengths. There is a great reward when we spend time working on creating the best version of ourselves.
